| Parkside Community Foursquare History The San Angelo Foursquare Church, otherwise know as Parkside Community Church was officially charted in 1939. Born out of a disaster, the San Angelo Foursquare Church actually began in early 1936 when four women from the newly formed Foursquare Church (Fall of 1935) went door to door taking food and blankets to those who were devastated by the historic flood of 1936. It soon became 'The Pentecostal Church' in San Angelo. The only church in the city to have a radio program, the San Angelo Foursquare Church broadcasted daily, 'The Noon Revival' and the Sunday afternoon 'Crusader Chapel Hour'. We have been a part of the San Angelo Christian Community for 70 years and we intend to be around a lot longer. | |||||||||
